Description:
Texas College seeks applicants for a Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will assist with the administration of the day to day operations of the Human Resources Office. This position receives, greets, corresponds and interacts with faculty, staff, students and the general public on a daily basis and must maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
The HR Assistant supports the department by helping with the implementation of services, policies, and creates an environment that supports faculty, staff and students. This position must deliver a high level of customer service in a professional, courteous, friendly manner. This position also assists with the monitoring of the screening and interviewing process.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration or a related field; two years of successful office experience; and must be proficient in ADP Workforce Now. Candidate must have excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel; effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; make independent decisions on a daily basis; have knowledge of office machines, and filing procedures.
Candidate must be able to independently organize and prioritize activities of daily office operations; able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
